Interesting story! Also,the question about should rent control be adopted to limit rent increase with an overwhelming group stating it should not be enacted. I am curious to see where this story will go in the future. Thanks for sharing!

@Jose Castillo I have yet to try of those meeting groups however I'll look for some that can align with my schedule. 

@Jonathan Damon Honestly I just need a mentor...It can be a person skilled with rehab, wholesale, etc. at this point I would like to gain knowledge on what route to take. I'm willing to travel up to 3hours from where I live in order to make that connection.

Yo Biggerpockets! My name is Andrew Lawhorn and I'm currently living in the Gold Country (Western Sierra area). I've been listening to BP podcast for a few months and decided that today was the day I start implementing some of what I've learned. First of all, I'm looking to meet with REI, Property managers, gurus, etc. in Stockton, Modesto, Oakdale, Sacramento and other surrounding areas to discuss what I can offer to help grow their business. I'm hungry to learn about wholesaling, flipping for chunks, & any other projects that I failed to mention. Your response will be greatly appreciated.
