I saw on your profile that you are in the trucking business. So lets say I want to start a truck hauling business, what kind of capital do I need?? I can go to the closest Volvo Dealer and put down 150k on 5 new trucks so I need 750k to get started, right??

OR I can buy some used trucks for WAY less. 

OR I can find people who have their own trucks.

I think you get the picture. Lots of ways to get started. Same with the WAY that you find deals. Retail would be to go to a realtor and find some. You could get your office staff to get a mail campaign going for you that would net some deals that you are buying on the cheap. 

You could network with some other small companies and when you HEAR that someone is going out of business, you might be able to get some equipment pretty reasonably priced!! Same with someone wanting to get out of their property.
