Get my real estate license and find at least one local REI mentor who will allow me to work for/with them to get me started. I’m active military so I’ll only be able to do it part-time, but long term my goal is to completely replace my military income with real estate income.

I’m in pretty much the same boat Karen, I paid for my Pro membership last week with a credit card... I’m active duty military but my wife can’t work for medical reasons, and after child support we barely scrape by every two weeks. As soon as I can get the money together I’m going to enroll in a real estate pre-licensing course, and see if I can’t convince some local investors to let me tag along and help out. Maybe you can do something similar? Head to some local REIA meetings and/or investor meet ups and see if you can make some connections, that doesn’t cost any money! Good luck to you!
