Might be a little late but message me. I have some names I can give you.

This might be a little late but most of the construction being done on base right now is repair from Hurricane Florence that hit back in September of 2018. A lot of the housing was condemned and they're still working to rebuild base housing. MARSOC is moving their operations entirely to the east coast by end of 2022 which will bring even more Marines in the area.

Townhouse buy & hold investment in Sneads Ferry.

Purchase price: $125,000
Cash invested: $28,000

2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome located near the back gate of Camp Lejeune (Marine Corps Base). The base creates a steady market of renters with solid and safe incomes.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The cash flow potential was too good to pass up.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

My friend was looking at buying one of the new build townhomes to live in and I went with him. I realized the investment potential and made an offer the next day.

How did you finance this deal?

Conventional loan, 30 years.

What was the outcome?

Cash flows around $500 a month.
