@Thomas S. with the potential for HVAC systems to run more efficiently with a "smart" thermostat couldn't that all things being equal save money longer term in terms of utility cost and potential for utility rebates. Of course for landlords who do not have sub-metering for every utility.

Hey Guys,

I am a IoT Integrator who primarily sells and installs Nest, Eero, Honeywell, Cujo and moreproducts. I am specifically involved in the residential sector.

One of my big warnings is Cyber Security and keeping praying eyes from having access to IoT devices. I currently am selling Cujo devices to keep entire router networks secure. This all is a huge value add in this constantly changing world of residential automation.

Do you guys agree? What would convince an investor/landlord to put wifi enabled thermostats, connected lighting, audible, wifi enabled smoke/CO detector and other devices in a rental unit or even their own homes.

I appreciate all input.

Cheers,

Andrew
