It's terrible what's happening with all of these tornados.  Just want to know if our members that live in the area are OK.

Also, how are your tenants and investment properties doing? I have an investment property near Highland Park and Woodland Cemetery.

Hope you guys are doing well.  My prayers are with everyone that was affected.

@Brian Prudden just out of curiosity, how much did you pay the realtor to rent the unit for you? Was it a full month's rent or a certain percentage?  Thanks in advance.

@Charles A. Awesome. Can't wait to read the details in the blog.  I'm downloading the podcast now to watch during my commute to work tomorrow. I'd love to get into apartment buildings.  Keep up the excellent work.

@Melissa Mendoza, I don't, sorry.  I invest out of state.

@Melissa Mendoza, it depends on the level of risk you want to take as an investor.  As of right now, the area by the ferry is not one of the bests in the island but it is possible that it improves with what they're building.  Kind of hard to say what will happen.

I've lived in Staten Island for 18 years. Definitely not a dump and not a diamond in the rough either. Property prices have gone up a lot in the past few years. I, personally, started to invest out of state because the numbers simply don't work here. Everything is way too expensive.

Hi guys.  I'm in the process of purchasing an investment property in Dayton, OH and need to have it inspected.  I'm an out of state investor (I live in NYC) and don't know any inspection companies in Dayton.  Can you recommend some inspection companies and just to have an idea, would you know how much they charge, approximately for a single family (4 bed, 1 bath)?

Thanks in advance.
