i have tried using the assessors site.  Sometimes the site is down and other times for some reason the property does not have a property owner listed.  Then I would go directly to the office and though the folks are friendly, still hit or miss.

I agree. There must be an a more efficient way to gather data.

I'm not a techy; but, I'm resourceful.

@Bob Okenwa I knew there had to be a way! I appreciate you Bob.  I have not read all the literature yet on wholesaling. I do remember hearing about it on a podcast through. Just did not remember which one. LOL

I'm new to wholesaling.  I went out door knocking and taking pictures of the exterior of properties that had appeared to be be in need of some TLC.  I was approached by a resident/owner that did not appear to be happy with my interest in the property.

My question is, after getting addresses of properties, how do I find the homeowners?  Do I go to City Hall or can I get that information online? I tried online and all that I got was year old Redfin, Realtor and Trulia advertisements.

@Larry T.  Thank you.  I am not sure about how specific I should be with the search.  This is my first time.

@Casey Faul thank you. I stopped by my City Hall yesterday looking for absentee landlords. No one seems to know where I can acquire that list in my area.
