If I where to start a hotel business in Sacramento California but don't run the hotel I hair people to do that I will just own the hotel what kind of license would I need in order for me to own hotels but not run them I just hair people to manage it and take care of it.

But if I use an agent and I don't have a license but the agent do is it possible for me to buy and sale I'm not planning on doing it forever my plan is to move to Sacramento CA and open a hospitality business I just want to get some money off real estate so I can start I don't wanna do real estate for ever.

I I'm very new to the game. Can I start buying and sailing real estate houses with no license I wanna get money out of it just for now my main business goals is the hospitality industry but I wanna get money buy buying and flipping property to start is it possible for me to do it with out a license please help me I'm stuck.
