Good evening everyone I got a question. Could I buy a property under my name then get a tenant to live in the property or no?

@Brenden Mitchum my financial situations are very stable and my current income is pretty good the only problem is that I’m always working, I operate the truck and run all the trucking business. My dad and I are in the trucking industry and we barely see each other to be honest. I miss all the birthdays including my own and would like to. Hangerstown that and have some family time. That’s my main reason why I would like to get into this real estate investing career.

I can’t say I have 200k+ in the bank but I have enough for down payments.

Good evening everyone, my name is Amrakh Rustamov. I have been in the trucking business since I was 18 and I’m really looking to make a change in the career to have free time of my own.

I have been really interested in the real estate division, I have attended the real estate workshops but have noticed that all they want is your money.

Then I came across BiggerPockets. I have been listening to books, looking at interviews and listening to the podcasts. Everything they say sounds very simple and easy yet it’s really difficult to take the words to action.

I’m in located north of Atlanta, ga and I was wondering what I should do to get started.

What my goals are:

I would love to find distressed properties to fix up and flip. Once I do a few and have enough cash, I would love to change it up to fix and hold and put tenants in the properties for cash flow.

I’m not sure where to find the properties and don’t really know the proper process. Please help me out.

Thank you

@Salvatore Lentini

I would love to get into the real estate investing business but I’m really scared of not being successful. I have difficulty finding a property and not really sure where to begin. I have tried to purchase a new townhome to give it out for rent but I was turned down on the loan which killed my motivation.

I’m always wondering if it would be a smart thing to do and get a distressed property from a whole seller, fix it up and flip it or maybe even put a tenant in the property.

What do you think I should start? I know once so get my first property going I’ll the confidence I need but it’s that first property that’s the biggest step out of them all.

What is the benefit of buying a property off from the auction? What should I be concerned about and how can I overcome those concerns? I would like to look into buying homes off the auctions to flip for some profit or hold the property. Should a beginner start off their journey like that?

I’m really new to real estate but I’ve had my eye on it for the longest time. I have some money and can get some credit line for buying a house for a flip. Iam really scared to pull the trigger on one though. What do y’all suggest? Should I jump into it?
