Patrick Wheeler isn't it nuts?! And Everett Isn't really my thing... I may check out Lynn on the Swampscott line, although much further from the city. It's rough out there haha

Brian Novak I know it's crazy! We were looking in Woburn and Burlington too, which I like but just much further from the city!

Taylor Johnson I know this post is old, but I've been doing some research in the forums and noticed your post! I've been looking for a real estate investor who understands our goals (hard to find!) and who has insight into this market with good connections. If you're available and looking for new clients feel free to message me!

@Justin Silverio thanks for the pointer! Definitely wondering your direct mail strategies as well and if you have found any good realtors you'd recommend!

@Patrick Wheeler and @Dolores Waldron have either of you bought any properties yet?

I feel like all of the books say to only purchase 70-80% - of home's value minus rehab costs, but I feel like that isn't possible in our market...

Thoughts anyone?!

Hi All! So excited to be a part of a place filled with like minded people! I'm very interested in finding a multi family in the north shore that needs help, but is liveable! I could also be happy with a SFH that needs some love, that I could fix up, rent, then sell at some point. Just trying to get this investing going! I'm finding this market to be extremely pricey, competitive and low in inventory! Has anyone had any luck in our area?
