I have a Bachelors in Business and it's doing nothing for me as far as real estate is concerned. Reading and connections with people is what your going to be most reliant on. 

There is definitely more than 1%. Being raised in a lower income household, the people that surrounded us were all about "beating the system", now that I've grown and have my own family, I've realized they aren't "beating the system", it's fraud...period. 

The extent to which they go through to get around paying rent and pay bills is a job in itself...ridiculous.

I've relocated to Lexington, SC from NJ, where I personally believe has the potential to be the next up and coming area.

Number 2 school districts in SC, weather is amazing, wages keeping up with inflation, way of life, tons to do, and 10 minutes from South Carolina University (among some of the top rated universities)

Trying to get ahead of the game, I'm in the process of getting my real estate license so I have access to what is avaliable because the housing shortage here is insane. There is a ton of land avaliable, just not a lot of places to stay. Also, they are very strict on the short term rental business (not that it completely cuts it out of the game, but they don't make it easy)

If you were here, with your real estate license, and thinking this could be the next big area people start seeking out what would your move be?
