@Joshua McGinnis

I have only listened to one so far on my way to work this morning!

I will be listening to all of them as soon as I get free time! So thankful that I found Bigger Pockets to get any all information my brain can handle! I really appreciate you taking the time to give your input as well!

I see, after researching Wholesaling I realized that it there is money involved with getting started, your marketing money! I have researched alot about how to market and I will do more until I find a cost efficient and effective way to do so.

I know it there is alot more to it... If it were that easy I am sure everyone would be doing it. haha

Thanks again for your advice!

@Russell Ponce

Right! Which they are out there... its just a matter of finding those people and striking enough of their interest to proceed to the next step.

Do you have any tips for marketing or anything that you learned about reaching out to those "distressed sellers"?

Your feedback is very much appreciated!

Hello Karri!

I am on the same page as you! Trying to find the best marketing tools for the area I am interested in. I am hoping to find out some more information about different marketing tools... if i come across any that are successful, I will definetly share with you =]

As for local meetups or meetings, have not done any just yet. I was trying to find some that are local and upcoming. If you know of any please let me know, Thanks!

Goodluck with everything!!

@Ali Boone

Oh cool, I love Venice!!! I live in El Monte, its about 30 minutes away... in good traffic haha!

Yea, we are determined to get to the point of being completely financially free. Wholesaling just seems like a great starting point for REI because there is not a huge chunk of money needed to do it. We are planning on this just being a start for us and anything that becomes a profit, we want to turn around and use to invest in more and more real estate. I think our ultimate goal is to own apartment or condo property for student housing near colleges in California and Arizona.

Does Aaron Mazzrillo do any type of seminars or webinars that I could attend or view?

@Michael Quarles

hahahah! Love your story!!!

Well at least now you can look back and laugh... especially since you are probably in a completely different stage in real estate investing now.

@Ewa Reza

THE LONGER THE BETTER haha!

Thank you so much for the advice!

Wholesaling does not seem too difficult and the more research I do, the more interested I get! I love the idea of it not really hitting my empty pockets haha! Which is why it seems like a really good place to start.

As for the in person marketing, I love that idea... I am a huge people person and I love face to face contact over anything else. This seems like a really good idea over all the other marketing tips. Just need to figure out how to get in contact with a distressed homeowner...

Do you recommend any specific books on wholesaling?

Thanks again!!
