Thanks @Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil! I agree that it is not going to happen "overnight" however I believe it will happen faster than some might think. All the signs are there. I am literally watching entire blocks transform before my eyes. The Baltimore Sun just posted an article this week about a new museum that will be occupying a vacant firehouse. If anyone is looking to work with a realtor that knows the area, I'm the one!

Hi Manu,

I am a local real estate agent and I am actively working with investors in Baltimore. I am specifically working with individuals in the Oliver and Broadway East neighborhoods.

It is a great area to invest and there is a lot of development happening. If you drive by, it is very apparent. Feel free to contact me if you are in need of an experienced agent that knows the area.

Note: I also work the surrounding neighborhoods and counties.

Best,

Amanda

Hi Nzinga,

I would reach out to those you want to learn from and ask them specifically how you could help. A few ideas include but are not limited to offering to be a bird dog and taking pictures for investors that do not have the time to visit properties. You could also become a virtual assistant and create a profile on websites such as Upwork. There are lots of opportunities and I am sure you will find something that works out for you and the other party.

Hi Mary. Congrats on taking steps toward your goal! As for you living in an apartment, that's not really anyone's business and I would not even share that information with a Seller. You are there to discuss them selling a home– not where you live! That's my two cents... I hope this is helpful!

That's amazing! I would keep it a secret until after closing and then take advantage of the low interest rates by opening a HELOC. Congrats :-)
