In general. Understand you have the extremes of all in on perm life and other are not. I’m the latter even though used to sell it. Best of luck to you. I’d caution you on IUL as you age, cost of insurance go up, so will eat into cash value unless you put in more

Don’t do it. I’m an ex life agent. Whole to begin is not an investment or product to borrow from yourself. Check with your agent and cpa though. I would not recommend any form of whole life.

Note: I own 2 whole life from a large mutual. I bought it because it was a safer wealth accumulation vehicle. In retrospect, probably better to save money the last 12 years and bought 1-2 properties. I’m keeping it now because alreAdy water under bridge and policy is finally close to breaking even.

It's 50k max. That's what i did. Trying to buy dips over 5 years when i repay Loan back while have my SFH cash flowing
