Matt and Mike thank you! Matt I know then Denver market is to expensive I was thinking more of a duplex more Midwest I just saw earlier today an investor in Ca got a duplex for $60k in Memphis. Mike I’ve actually been looking in AZ I’m going to really start focusing on Phx.

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I currently have no debt, very good credit, and about $10k in savings. I’ve never owned a house before and I want to buy my first rental property. I’m in Denver and have been looking out of state for an investment. I’ve been looking for a duplex or triplex to start. If the deal was right I’d be more then happy to move to house hack my first deal. If you were just starting out, What areas would you be looking to invest in? What type of property would you go for? What type of financing would you use?

All advice welcome!

Alex
