Curious on people thoughts of jumping fully in after obtaining your RE license, or keep your current job and work as a part time agent until your commission earnings make sense to jump in full time? I'm currently in a low expense living situation and have the opportunity to save around 6 months salary to make that full time jump right away. If your passion is to become an agent, what's the best path to take? Assume all the obvious when answering.. hard working, ambition, self starter, the will to be successful. Thanks!

I have one year to save, save, save. Currently I'm in a position that allows me to do so, my projected route is to save around 20000 and house hack with a fixer upper duplex. Few questions. FHA or conventional loan? My goals are to keep obtaining more properties so is one better than another in the case or future investing? I make around 40k gross, are my aspirations too high looking at duplexes? Any other tips and info for a new investor are much appreciated!!
Chris T. Cary Ogello Thank you both for your help and input, much appreciated!

Conventional loan or fha?? I make an average income and am looking to invest in my first property. Currently I'm in a situation where I have very low expenses and the opportunity to save. My purchase ideally would be a fixer up duplex. Is the only pro to an fha the low money down? If you have the opportunity to save is conventional better for the long run? Thoughts and opinions much appreciated, thank you!!

Planning to invest in first property. If I don't qualify for a loan to support a duplex purchase, my next option Is single family. Now my plan will be to obviously live in it which would take away the house hacking option. What is my foreseeable future on turning that single family home into a property that'll make me my passive income? Keep in mind I make an average income, so is my only option to live in it for a few years re fi turn it into a rental and purchase another property? And will banks hand out another loan, based off the fact that my income wouldn't be able to support two mortgages? Thanks and much appreciated for any thoughts and info!
Yes I agree with you in many ways. But my concern due to my w-2 job income, is what I will actually qualify for in regards to options for properties. My ideal situation would be to find a fixer upper Duplex and house hack. But due to it not necessarily being a buyers market at the moment, and housing prices being higher I question whether a bank would approve of me of much and ofcourse I won't know until I go out and get pre approved. But I'm speaking more generally obviously you have to dig deep find deals, and do what you can with what you have.

Hello, I'm currently in the process of deciding what brokerage I would like to start my real estate journey.. I've had a meeting with a Keller Williams brokerage, and also have a few other brokers of Keller Williams looking to set up other meetings. Obviously Keller is one of the first that come to mind for anybody, so I'm just curious on people first hand options on them as well as other brokerages for a new agent! Much appreciated
