Welcome to the forums.  This is definitely the place to be to find answers.  I was in the same place you were several months ago when I first signed up.  After reading and educating, I am more confident about where I am headed.  I started telling people that I am looking to invest in real estate, and I kid you not, 3 out of 4 people I told this to said they want to do that as well.  That is enough people to get some money together and to go in on a deal, and that exactly what I'm doing.  Once you find the money, the next problem is finding the deals.

Hey @Cody Jensen, I'm in the same boat as you and am looking around the East Stroudsburg area.  It's close enough for me to take a drive out to and check it out.  I don't want to invest in my first property that I can't get to in less than 2 hours of driving. Gotta run the numbers and see if they make sense for you.

I've started out recently as well.  I have been reading some of the books that you can purchase from Bigger Pockets, but also the podcasts have a lot of useful information.  Also, the forums are a wealth of information.

Thanks for the update.  Looking good thus far.  Seems like town delays need to be accounted for when estimating hold times.
