NEW INVESTOR ALERT!!! NEW JERSEY/PHILADELPHIA AREA
Hello all :-)
I am a new real estate investor residing in Westampton, New Jersey, located about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia (GO BIRDS!!! haha). I joined BP to learn, share, and connect with real people–after all, real estate is a people-business, and success is a collective effort.
A couple of months ago, I started a company with my wife to flip houses–she's also on the road to becoming a licensed NJ RE agent (should graduate late February). Our target market is close to home. Investment properties (flips) do well in the area. We have $20k in startup capital and a local mortgage broker (friend of a friend) to help "control our deals" as J.Scott suggests in his book.
We look forward to meeting new people on our new path that we can work with, learn from, and add value to however we can.
Seasoned investors, fellow newbies, agents, brokers, and others in the real estate investment and professional space local and not-so... A BIG HELLO :-)
