Thanks for posting your story and congratulations! I just started learning and this is really inspiring. May I ask when you started educating yourself about this stuff? I know everybody will approach it differently, but I'm wondering what sort of timeline makes sense. I see a lot of references to "analysis paralysis," but it's hard to imagine getting to that point because I'm still just so ignorant.

Hi there! My name is Alex Gaw. I just started learning about investing period, let alone investing in real estate. I found Bigger Pockets after googling...something. I've been doing a lot of googling lately. I currently work as a paralegal in Austin, Texas, a job which I enjoy but don't want to do forever. I'm not really sure what my goals are at this point. Short term: Keep learning, find people that I can provide some value to and who are interested in sharing their knowledge. Medium term: ????? Long term: Profit.

I love to travel and I love to write and I love to swing dance and I love to travel for swing dancing. I also love polysyndeton, which I apparently can spell on the first try. I teach and dance locally, but I have also danced as far away as Thailand. I'd love to be able to do that more.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to getting to know you.
