Yes, but for what we have to work with down-payment wise, $250,000 is our max budget.

Thanks! Our local market is Vancouver WA and much too expensive unfortunately. We need something $300k or less. I’ve been looking at Cleveland OH.

 Hey Alexa, what market are you looking into starting your journey on? I'd normally choose the in-state option for starters provided that your local market can give you that 1-2% rule deal and if it's affordable.
