@Chris Seveney So then... does it make sense to have an LLC at all? I'm just trying to fully comprehend what all of this means...In order to file for an LLC you MUST have an NAICS code listed as a business purpose. If I started an LLC and used NAICS code 531390, the IRS would keep a closer eye on my company and I have a higher likelihood of being audited VS. me not having an LLC...

@Brian Frasier then how would a new wholesaler protect themselves and reap tax benefits?

I am new to wholesaling and I want to make sure I am doing things the legal and right way.  I keep seeing videos that advertising seller's homes online (FB, craigslist, etc) is illegal and can get you in trouble if you are not licensed so they recommend reaching out to cash end buyers directly.  Is this true?  I'd prefer to use social media platforms like facebook if that is an option.  If it is an option, what is the RIGHT way to advertise on social media?

I plan to make a website so I guess that is another way I could possibly do it?

Thank you!

@Jerryll Noorden Your post motivated me to do research over the last week (so basically I havent slept haha). I 100% agree with you. Thank you so much for leading me in the right direction! If your ever looking for some deals in Arkansas, I'd love to JV :). Also, if you dont mind, I'd like to connect, I just sent an invite.

I'm not sure how to get more information on the laws and regulations in place pertaining to starting an LLC in Wyoming and conducting real estate investment business in Arkansas. It is probably less of a headache to start my company in the same state but taxes in Arkansas are over 9%. Thanks!

@David Corbaley I tried to sign up, but it would not allow me to.

Just curious if anyone has taken BS's Apprenticeship Program and if you thought it was worth it?  I'm considering joining!

ie. 237210 - real estate (except cemeteries) subdividers; 531210 - buying agencies, real estate, etc

It should be noted that I do not have a real estate license

Where do I start with wholesaling?

EDUCATION - What is the best course/book to learn from or read before making any moves?

MARKETING - Whats the best marketing strategy? Door-knocking? Advertising? Mailers? Website? Phone Calls?
