Hi everyone! I'm new to the STR game. I am thinking of broadening my options and going into the Clevelane Oh market ( specifically Little Italy ). I get the idea that this is a decent pocket. Assuming I can find the team for this, what can I expect ? Are there any managers that can chime in ? Is this a good area for Mid Term Rentals?

@Will Barnard

Hey Will ! So does that mean in addition to my cold calling team, I should be advertising through the internet (I.e Craigslist, Facebook)?

@Greg Dickerson

Hey Greg! This first deal I did was through Zillow with an agent that posted a probate for his first time. I'm not sure if he knew what an assignment of contract was. Everything must have gone smoothly since the same Sur name was on the contract anyway. But since then, I have been working with a group of peers. We have been cold calling for the passed 4 month with little success. Only only one a couple appointments here and there.

Hey everyone! I recently helped my father close on a 4-plex in Los Angeles this past year via assignment, but have not been able to get down a consistent lead flow for wholesaling real estate. Is there anyone in Los Angeles that currently has a Wholesaling operation that may offer a little insight on the market competition? What are some of the things you're doing to get more consistent lead flow?

@James Wise this is great ! We dont have many homes with basements here in Los Angeles. Being that my home has one, I still would have completely looked over the moisture problem that I am CURRENTLY having from the little rain we get !

@Suny Capezzuto thank you for your input ! Here in Los angeles we have pretty long sided tenants rights as well but the investment still seems to be worth with the appreciating land value. Are there any specific areas/ zipcodes that I should watch out for ? I see that some properties are around the 40k mark and am not sure if that's a bad indicator or not ? The closer to downtown the better?

Hey guys, I'm looking help my family invest in real estate. They finally want to take them leap and I'd really like to guide them in the right direction. They know that long distance investing is possible but only with the correct systems and people in place. Can anyone share their experiences investing in Cleveland Ohio ? We are from southern California, so what are some expenses we might be caught off guard by? The prices seem to make sense but I feel like theres more that I'm not seeing. Any input would be much appreciated!
