@Jeremy Taggart

Thank you for your insight! Allegheny County definitely seems like a better choice in terms of location and appreciation. However, the average home prices are higher and I don't have a the capital to go for those areas, but I will not bet taking Allegheny County off of my radar.

@Gary Swank

Thank you so much for your input!

I will definitely start networking around to get the ins and outs of the market. Thanks again!

@Chris Seveney

Thank you for your response!

I do live in the area and I can tell that most local markets around me are not worth investing in. I assume by PM you mean Property Management. I work for a construction company and we often get called to apartments to fix issues and a majority of them seem to have been neglected by the property manager (one company in particular is terrible). I plan to manage my properties myself at first (currently I have no homes in my portfolio).

Thanks again for your insight!

Good morning everyone.

I am just getting started into real estate and I am looking to find places in Pennsylvania's market, specifically the Beaver County area. I am wondering if there is anyone who has invested there that has some insight into the market and what their deals usually look like or if there are any pitfalls or things to look out for when investing in that are.

Thank you!
