I would absolutely love to do something outside of NYC (sometimes when I hear about the numbers discussed on BP podcast I get excited and then realize NYC prices are really, really high) however, I really want to get a firm foundation first.

Brief introduction about myself, I am 24 and I currently work for an Investment Bank (but looking to change that in the future, want to be my own boss :)) within their internal audit shop based in Manhattan, NY. I stumbled unto real estate through a fraternity brother of mine who is currently a property manager but wants to start building a real estate portfolio via his LLC. I have always been interested in personal development and investing to create personal wealth and real estate leverages some of my strong skillsets (such as financial analysis, and interpersonal skills) so I became highly interested in the anatomy of real estate investing. I have been listening to BP podcasts for some time now and I have read the beginners guide over and over however, I still have not been able to overcome my inertia and get started until today.

This brings me to finally stop lurking and introduce myself to the community!!
