Anyone know of any places I should be looking to get a multi-family so I can do some house hacking? I'm currently trying to do this as its my last option since none of the properties are good enough for cash flow

like everyone else here, we should meetup and grab a coffee on the weekend if you guys are free, I'm trying to connect with local REI Groups and like minded individuals, I will PM all of you with my email if you guys want to connect

same boat, hard to find anything good out here, I'm debating if I should buy a home and rent all the rooms except for one maybe it would pay for my mortgage and I could house hack

had not check this in a while, if anyone knows of any current meetups let me know, I'm actually pretty active on meetup.com

Hey Albert,

For me the best REIA meets have all been FIBI (For Investors By Investors). I think the next meetup is June 28th in Long Beach. Definitely recommend if you want to network with active real estate pros in greater LA.

How do I get more info on this one like location time etc?

Also look up Lloyd segal he has a club near lax and teaches a weekend bootcamp. You will meet many realtors, contractors etc.

Is he here on the forums?

I believe this was the wrong address as I showed up and it was a home in construction lol

@Chris Seveney I appreciate the info, where do you think I should start with this venture? Learn and start buying notes?

I remember I went to a seminar once about note buying and they would give astronomical/almost made up numbers that made people want to get into note buying/selling, performing and non performing notes, but how realistically is this?  I want to ask in biggerpockets because it seems the info I find here people are actually willing to help and not "sell" you something bogus or false, I'm kinda a new to bigger pockets too so I'm navigating the waters of these forums and all the content it offers, let me know if you can shine some light on how I should begin my journey, I'm currently in the Los Angeles County Area
