@Louis Hamric following

@Keith Linne nice explanation!

@Eric Johnson nice info!

Good Evening

I have an interesting scenario.  The wife of a tenant had a mental breakdown the other day at the apartment.  The landlord lives on the first floor, the landlord's mother and niece live there.  The wife of the tenant physically assaulted and used egregious behavior towards the landlord's mother and niece.  They pressed charges and the police took the wife away.  The wife will have a restraining order moving forward. luckily nobody went to the hospital.  What are the necessary steps the landlord needs to take to protect their family? This all happened in NY and the coronavirus is happening as well in all this mix.  As we all know the laws have changed most recently.  What advice or resource can you advise for support? I know this a lot to take in.

@Heath Jones how would PMI work for both or insurance in general?

@Heath Jones thank you, those are crucial facts to know!

@Heath Jones thanks Heath for your response.. can you provide the scenarios regarding the differences? I was thinking 2 family. This is new to me.

@Maricell Hall I was reading the messages, thanks for teaching me too!
