Hello community friends,

I found a single family vacation home currently bank listed. Home in need repair. I would like to fix and hold. This will be my first home as owner and investor. Zillow shows that area "cold" for marketing. I will see the home with realtor on Sunday. What do you recommend to me? Also which funding options ?

Is it good idea offer first time home buyer and when find the buyer sell the house or offer as investor ? Which way easy?

I'm a little bit mess between become home owner or investing, because the home is not that I want to live all the time in that area.

I'm interesting to buy 2 family reo home in  Paterson. Listed as short sale . I would like to ask questions

I would like to offer owner occupant and rent other half (seller looking for owner occupant). The home need rehabilitation. If my offer accepted should I responsible previous lien, tax and mortgage or will pay the listed price and start fresh everything? which one?

Can I apply long term investment loan for this is there any opportunity long term finance and no prepay penalty?(long term and no prepay is because this will be my first investment and home I'm little bit afraid)

If renovate it home ; 2015 tax $7,935 current tax assessment is $187,400 will be change these numbers?

1. I have joined from Paterson New Jersey to the community interesting invest in real estate to replace my current job and feel free to live. I would like to start single family houses to invest my area and 30 miles around. Paterson houses mostly old  has high taxes and lots of people traffic. Foreclosure homes almost on everywhere tried to get couple homes but didn't get it. My credit is good but don't have money. I'm looking to help on every step to go succeed with my investment that could be trustable partnership or connect to help me. I see here lots of information to reading it.

I see somebody using slogan or umbrella company name (I couldn't figure it yet) Fifik loans His Facebook name Fifik Jan. He sent me an application and says Samuel Robert Castillo Private Lender. I'm looking to verify him but no clue yet. He only require loan insurance from his company. If anybody did business with him I would like to know review.
