Post: Looking for Wholesaler In Jax FL (Southside)

Hello, I am looking for a reliable wholesaler who is knowledgeable in condominiums on the south-side of Jacksonville. I actually have narrowed down to 7 communities that I am interested in.

Can anyone recommend someone for this? I'm looking for a really good wholesaler... I'm good at doing this myself; but it isn't the best use of my time so I am looking for a partner.

Thanks, Alex

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I appreciate that. And the lead on landlordlocks.com

The rental units will include free wifi, but I am not looking to spend money where it is not needed.

thanks again!

Hello, one of my projects is student rental condos. I am thinking about having smart locks put in. I have been looking at this one, http://www.kwikset.com/kevo because it appears to be the best on the market right now.

Has anyone tried this? Or does anyone already do this?

I have a cleaning service that comes monthly, I'd like for them to call me so I can remote unlock, and also if any maintenance is needed, same thing...

Anyway, I'm just looking for some general comments on smart locks.

Thanks!

Hello, does anyone know of a website that ranks handymen? I'm looking for someone reliable for my rental properties.

If anyone knows if a good website that I could check some reviews, that would be helpful. Or if anyone can recommend someone / a company that does a good job.

What I'm looking for:
Someone that can react fast, has good communication and someone that is knowledgeable / can problem-solve.

Thanks everyone!

Hello, I am looking for a reliable / affordable property management company in Jacksonville Florida. Does anyone have any good leads that I could try?

My rental properties are condo's that are being rented to college students.

@Brandon Battle - I was unable to find that podcast. Do you happen to have a link to it?

@Travis Thornton- Thanks for this thought out response. I do need to work closer with a CPA it seems to really talk thought it. One thing that is different for me is my aviation background, I'll be working directly with investors with a lot of capital, using their cash. I would be the only owner of the LLC.

@James Paine- My goal is to own 12 rental properties within the next 3 years. However, I plan on using investors cash to do so, hopefully no traditional loans will be needed.

I randomly came across a property that is in my desired area; however, it appears to be exclusively on this action.com website. It appears that you are unable to view the property before winning the bid... Also, I'm not even sure if the seller is required to sell the property after the bidding is over?

Does anyone on here have any experience with action.com and its pros / cons?

I wouldn't mind hearing from a action.com staff member, but I know they would be biased. Ideally someone who has successfully or unsuccessfully used this service.

Thanks!

Hello, I hadn't given much thought about the type of business to register when starting in REI until I read this post by @Brandon Turnerhttps://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2016/02/2...

LLC just seemed like the right way to go, again, because I do not know much about REI Taxes. My wife started a business a year ago and went with an LLC so it seemed simple to me.

I was hoping to hear from some professionals on this forum with their best practices for how the company is registered.

Thanks!
