Thanks @Wayne Brooks - we did sign the standard contract! 

So meaning if there are any damages, we would just have to postpone the close until the time that we get it in the condition we saw it, right? Even if it is beyond the 45 day closing period we promised?

Hello - As you guys all know there is Hurricane Matthew and it's going to at least affect us in Jax in some other way. 

We were supposed to close a house by Friday, 10/7, but we had to move it next week because of the storm. 

Question is - what happens if there is significant damage to the house before we do close? Our agent said we'll have to do a walk through, but could we submit a request to have the seller fix all the damages before we close the deal? 

Appreciate your help!
