what is the process to wholesale a short sale deal? i will be using an option contract to tie up the property. Do you negotiate the short first and once it is approved then do you wholesale it using and assingment contract? or will the option contract cover that?

Post: how to work a short sale already listed with realtor?

I have realtor that has a couple short sale listings. How do you work a short sale that is already listed on mls? she knows the short sale process and has all the documentation need to complete the short sale package for herself. I am confused on where i would come in at? i have my short sale package together but she feels that the homeowner would not like the idea of me going to the homeowners and asking to sign my documents including my option contract?

Please help, thanks
