I wouldn't say it's growing at a considerable rate yet, but I do see some considerable infrastructure development going on. Lots of new hotels being built along I30, the primary buildings have gone up at the Texas A&M Texarkana campus, I hear Division 1 or 2 college basketball team or games are coming to the city. The city has also recently passed some multimillion dollar bond packages to redevelop some buildings in the downtown area. I think in the next 5-10 years growth will be considerable, and any investors that can get in now with the intent to buy and hold won't be disappointed. Our company currently has 4 SFR homes and is looking to get up to 10 doors then pivot to some multifamily units. @Colby Brown Google RentTK and drop us a line!

Hey looks like you invest near the Texarkana area as well. How have you found the market?

I own several (3) single family homes in Texarkana and am in the process of purchasing several more (7-12). I live in Arlington which is about 3 hours drive but I travel there 2-3 days a week. Texarkana is definitely a growing market, with ample demand for housing. Texarkana is one of the few if not the only cities in the US that has 3 interstate highways running through it. Texas A&M has recently built a campus in Texarkana that is quickly being expanded. There are some decent sized developments underway and several fortune 1000 companies have been steadily building hotels and commercial centers to accommodate future growth. Texarkana will not become a Dallas in our lifetime but there is enough demand for housing, and purchase opportunities that could make for a good investment. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or if you'd be interested in meeting up to show you around the city.

Along with your A game bring a VERY NICE portfolio of all the deals you've done up to this point, detailing the property, before and after photos, purchase, repair, & ARV, how long it took you to rehab and sell.

Hey @Michael Swan I can't wait to listen to your podcast! Your goals are amazing, but what you have already accomplished is even more awesome! I will be working on making my own personal real estate goals much clearer and as concise as what you have provided us here.

Congrats on jumping in both feet first! In 6-10 years all of your friends that were once calling you cheap will be telling you how much they wished they'd followed your path ad be looking to you for investment advice. Keep pressing on and soon you'll be ready to purchase your next property and level up again!

I have recently acquired some homes in the Texarkana area and I'm in need of a small team to do some updates to the home. Most of the repairs needed are minor and cosmetic in nature.

-Painting, Sanding & polishing floors, Installing flooring, Sheetrock repairs, Roof patching

If you have a trustworthy & dependable crew you can suggest please let me know how I can get in contact with them to schedule a walkthrough.

My family has owned an investment property in Lancaster for over 10 years, never had any crime issues. DR Horton has recently began finishing out a neighborhood in Lancaster on Beltline Rd with homes starting at 180k-205k
