Anyone invested in a note with Truewholesalehouses? I just called the phone number of the company based on my previous marketing person contact and found out that they don't work at the company anymore and someone will follow up with me regarding my interest payment on my note. I called the phone and got a voicemail system stating it is Del Boca Vista and google it to find a guy named Mike Hanks as the owner. Should I be worried about my note not being paid back due to negative reports on Mr. Hanks? Anyone else invest with Truewholesalehouses and having issues? Thanks for your assistance!

I received a postcard from a wholeseller in Bakersfield, CA regarding a property that I am in the process of flipping and wondering if anyone knows this individual before I reach out and give them my information.  The guy's name is John or Jon Hunt.  I don't like providing my information to a complete stranger and would like some information if anyone has worked with this individual in the past.  Thanks!

I started out working in fastfood restaurants while in HS and graduated, joined the army, completed 8 years of service, and read various real estate books. I purchased my first condo in HI in 05. The past year I closed on a shortsale (IndyMac) duplex in San Diego and have been happy being a landlord to 2 families. I am about to take a job in SWA for a year to save up capital to do more deals. I also need to get more educated so I don't get burned. After my year in SWA, I plan to locate and work for a mentor to learn the ropes of wholesaling, sub2's, and lease options. I have been dealing with paralysis/analysis for this whole time and plan to take action.

I attended my first REI convention in march and a speaker stated that "if your why is strong enough, then you will find out how."

I have a tenant in one of my units that is receiving partial housing assistance (Sec.8). The housing authority is doing an inspection on the 16th of this month. How do I know if I can increase the rent and what is reasonable? I checked on their website and it stated $1450 a month as reasonable for a 2br in San Diego. The current is $1200 and I am paying their utilities. How do I go about increasing the rent with approval from the housing authority? Thanks for your help in advance.
