@Matt M. Well he was just getting charged way too much that's for sure. I'm not making a business out of real estate photography although I do photography for other purposes than just real estate. Competition is fierce but so is real estate in Denver, we obviously are not quitting so who cares about "competition". lol That was just an awkward opinion to bring up on my post that provided no value for me.

I was asking if anyone was interested in high quality photos because I would be taking them with an actual camera that I own. Photography is one of my passions I love doing and want to take more photos of anything real estate. I didn't name a price for what I'm willing to ask for in return because it's not only about any specific dollar amount. I wouldn't mind if someone helped with running a CMA on a property, helping me with a house far away from me, buying me lunch, anything! Just seeing how I can help people out there. With all due respect I didn't ask for recommendations on services you'd use regarding real estate photography.

Hello Denver, Colorado Bigger Pockets Family! (If you're not local to Denver please ignore this post)

I bought a Nikon D5600 a few months ago and absolutely love it for my real estate business. I never take photos with my phone when I go on seller appointments anymore. One of my friends here in Denver was showing me a house he recently flipped and asked me if I'd be willing to take photos for him because real estate photographers charge $300-$500+ for photos! I want to use my camera more often so I want anyone who needs photos for their before and after deals to give me a shout! I'm not 100% sure what'll I'll ask price wise for my time but I also use Lightroom for editing my images.

I'm going to start taking photos for at least 2 people a week here in the next month. I'm buying a wide angle lens before hand. This obviously isn't my full time business because I'm mostly looking for deals to wholesale but thought I'd see who needs some help and wants to save some money for photos!

Hey Jason, I'm going to tell you what no one here has said yet. It doesn't matter if the market is up or if it is down. If it's a hot market or a cold market. If it's a strong cash flow market or a great rehab on appreciation market. No matter what is going on you'll never make it in this business if you don't start with the absolute basics of education, sales and marketing. Particularly sales and marketing. Why these two? Because if you don't know how to find and covert human beings who NEED to sell a house, then you'll spend a lot of time worrying about the market. There's a strategy for every market. EVERY MARKET. That's why thousands of people earn money everyday in real estate worldwide. You need to learn marketing so you consistently find deals with out having to depend on anybody or feel like "there's no deals" in Denver. Most of the time when I hear people struggling in this business is because they can't find deals. It's not that they really care about if it's a hot or cold market. Think about that for a second. If you had quality leads coming to you at a rate of 3 new sellers a day, would anything else matter? Sure but not as much as the Leads do. It's like the movie Glenngarry Glen Ross when Alec Baldwin says, "these are the new Glenngarry leads.." while they are in pink paper wrapped in a freaking gold bow. Everyone in that office was stressed because they had no leads. Trust me on this one. It's the "darkest secret" no one talks about in real estate because the ones that do understand this don't share it. Sales is the second most important thing because once you have leads, no matter the source, you must know how to convert them so they decide to sell to you at a discount or terms. I can go more into this as well but I really wanted to hit it home with the marketing part.

Hello Bigger Pockets Family!

I'm not new to real estate investing and am not asking how it is I build a buyers list. I specialize in sales and marketing to negotiate deals at a discount to assign to other investor buyers. I'm always building my list because most people I run into are not serious investors and never pull the trigger.

If you'd like to be added to my buyer's list and do a deal together in 2017, either go to www.wholesaledealsincolorado.com or PM me here on Bigger Pockets with answers to the following questions:

1. What types of properties are you looking for?

2. What's your strategy?

3. How much are you looking to buy a property for?

4. What areas are you looking in?

This year has already started off great but there's no such thing as a "glass ceiling" in real estate investing. I look forward to hearing from you soon so we can do deals together this year!
