I’m looking for an agent and property manager in the Statesville NC area. I’ve found a couple of properties that i want local feedback on, and if the area they’re in is a quality area I’d like to submit an offer.

Has anyone had experience with homes that are registered “historic”? Are more strict issues when it comes to rehabbing? Can they be used as rentals? I’ve found a house that I’m interested in but it says “This property has been listed in the national register of historic places by the United States Department of the Interior”. I’m not really sure if these places have additional restrictions on them.

I’m originally from the Pilot Mountain area of NC but currently live and work in Nashville TN. The market here is out of control so I’m looking to do investing around Winston Salem, Rural Hall, Pfafftown, Mt Airy, Pilot Mountain areas of NC. I’m way more familiar with those areas and I already have some boots on the ground there (broker, agent, appraiser, general maintenance, some contractors). I’d like to meet some other investors in that area and create some partnerships if we have likeminded goals.
