@Matthew Otero

I just opened my first escrow account for my first tenant. The bank said that I can open up as many escrow accounts as I want under the same account. I can view them through the bank’s app. They separate them by tenant names. I had to use a smaller bank because the some larger banks do not do this any more.

@Scott Smith Hi Scott, I liked the advice you gave to Moses. I too am venturing into property rentals. I am in the process of buying a condo to rent out. My mortgage guy is putting in as my primary residence ( I already live on an Estate as a Property manager and I am self-employed). Would it serve me better to just open a separate checking account or a business account?

@Blake Edwards. Great story Blake. Congratulations. I’m new to this site and working on my first property rental.

What does "BRRRR"?

Best,
