Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, first time poster so here it goes.

I am looking to buy some single family / multifamily properties in North Myrtle Beach, but ive noticed that home prices have been trending down the last 6 months or so. My questions are 3 fold:

1. Does anyone know why there has been this downward trend, and is it likely to continue?
2.  How is the North Myrtle Beach area? Livability wise?
3.  Any local lenders / investors?

So I currently live in Durham, and I would say that the best place to find anything is in the research triangle.  This is the "triangle" made by Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill.  Great area for rentals as there are 3 huge schools nearby (Duke, NC State and UNC).  If you guys have any other questions let me know as I am actively looking to purchase a multi unit here as well!
