Aren't most good Schools private schools? I've been looking at most downtown areas and the public schools are usually low grade but private schools such as Montessori abound. 

Interesting topic, and what a unique type of market given the logistics of an Island.

Working with flippers to find them key properties in the Fort Lauderdale area. Perhaps investors too that have rental plans in mind. I eventually would like to get into Commercial Real Estate. 

Do we have Regional Forums here? If not it seems like we should, I could use some help and advice in the Broward County /Fort Lauderdale area. I am new to the area and have been visiting quite a few new developments but it would be nice to get to meet smaller investors. 

comparitively speaking, I wouldn't have sold the extra car for 9K , I would've traded it for an old all-purpose pick up truck, as a rental property owner there's no telling how many times it would come in use, you could easily park it on one of the properties...Congratulations on taking the plunge! You will have thought of this as the best thing in your life. 

There's a few articles in the New York Times of how this is the new wave for investors and even seemingly 'private' buys. Just saves a lot of hassle I suppose.
