Interesting never heard of this. I wonder if the government has a hand in this one? Putting up new rules for purpose built rentals?

Hi, We are looking at other markets to invest. We are looking at Canada with good cashflow and good growth  but would also consider the USA and other countries. I’m interesting in hearing where investors are purchasing cash flowing deals now in Canada. Management will be handling it entirely on our behalf. We are looking for turn key in areas with good management options. Love to hear where others are purchasing. Thank you, Amanda and Aaron Saarela

@Paul Yun

Hi Paul. I live in white rock and invest heavily in Prince George, where there is still cashflow. Although this market is drying up as far as cashflow goes, there are still some available. And the market is healthy for appreciation. But in a perfect world I wouldn’t have to drive 9 hours to tend my investments lol.

We also purchased a cheap program called property evaluator for apple computer. It works great and I think it was 50.00. It helped see all numbers when determining which properties numbers will work, it all comes down to numbers. Way more accurate than when we did it with pen and paper, or the 1 percent rule.

We just started Landlord Maxx which was 199.00 one time fee. I like it. It has a lot of great features. I was going to go with Quickbooks, or Saje like my accountant recommended but they don't make an option for mac. We had to do something to convert it? and so we chose landlord max which works for windows or apple.

We currently have 10 units in Prince George. We like it. Gives a nice cashflow. Prince George properties typically increase by 5% each year. We lived in Prince George for 3 years so its nice that we know the area real well now.

Meetup.com has a group called the WIN group (wealthy investor network) Anton is one of the organizers.

He organized weekly meet ups at Remax in fleetwood surrey BC to do a free lesson, and play the cashflow game last sunday of every month. Message me if you have any questions about anything. :)
