Hey Daniel,

I've taken both real estate exams for California as well as New York. For California i went to Premier Schools on the corner of Overland and Woodbine street just south of the 10. They give two books to take home and study. For New york i did it online but found i was able to study better with a book since i could not get ADD with the book, unlike my computer which i suddenly found myself on youtube or something. So keep that in mind as you search for the right course.

And don't stop learning until you've passed the test. I have many friends who started but never finished.

And i'll leave you with this bit of advice my dad gave me once i passed my test. "Now you get a discount every time you buy real estate. Agents get commissions, but investors get wealthy. Go get both."

HI Harold,

I'm not an agent in Indiana but i still hope my answer will be useful.

Here in LA you do not need to be an agent to use the MLS in terms of searching, running reports, checking the status of property, etc. To list property however you do need to be an Agent. Maybe you can look into getting MS access on your own?

Hope this helps
