Is the property you're looking for a hard money loan on in Santa Fe? If so I may be interested in doing one.

I'm also in the market for a hard money lender for a potential BRRRR of a 4 unit multifamily property.

Hello, I have been purchasing some real estate lately in Angel Fire. Right now rentals seem to be doing very well and you can get a nice property in the 500k range. What interested me the most about Angel Fire was that it doesn't turn into a ghost town after the skiing ends. The resort has a world class downhill mountain bike area that stays very busy all summer as well as a great golf course too. Within 12 miles there is also a lake in Eagle Nest for fishing and no wake boating. The combination of all of these help to insure the short term rentals stay reasonably booked.

If you're looking for a broker to send you any property info shoot me a message and we can connect.
Thanks!

Hi Steve, I've actually been buying up some foreclosures up there and might have a couple for sale. I am also a broker and can help if you're looking at properties that are on the market. Message me if you'd like to connect. Thanks

So, I understand if I only had the right of redemption the proceeds would go to mortgagor, but would the quitclaim deed change that?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Here is my situation:

Purchased redemption rights & quitclaim deed from the owner of property coming up for auction. The property is worth more than what is currently owed. If the auction goes higher than what is owed, who is entitled to the proceeds?

There are no other liens on the property other than the one that is foreclosing.

Property is in New Mexico.
