When you receive a judgement , it's better to file a writ of attachment on the deadbeat bank account. If you don't know where they bank send several to local banks in the area and maybe one will land. This will freeze their money and it will come to you.

In some states you can also attach vehicles and or property and place liens. Don't give up keep chasing your money because chances are when you finally get paid it will hurt them more.

Kinda like running from the snatch man and he catches up with you in some remote town 600 miles away from home on a Sunday evening .

What did you end up doing ? I'm in the same boat .

I am looking for someone or a company who is experienced in helping me to diversify a Trust that I am the trustee. I currently have fixed up the property and have a renter. There is about 200k more left in the home as equity. I don't want to sign over my rights to the property but just get strategic help to allow the asset to grow. I am interested in a multi-family dwelling or whatever make sense.

I inherited a house from my mom who recently passed away. I want to get the home fixed up and rented out. What is the best way to go about doing this ? The house is mortgage free. In addition , I want to set myself up to be able to buy another rental down the road. I currently have no homes in my name but I am married and fear that I wont qualify for a first time buyer and would have to put 25 percent down as a investor. Is this true ?
