The other thing about vonage is their international rates seem to be pretty solid. Actually I think Ireland is even included in the 24.99/month unlimited plan.

There are a few reasons why people don't do this.

1. Many people want to. Thousands show up at trade shows, free seminars, bootcamps, etc. All expecting to make the fast buck, to get the life they see on the infomercial. The thing about the informercial is they show the best deals the person ever did. While most don't come anywhere near that. So when the people realize you actually have to do some work, they go back to the security of their 9-5 job.

2. FEAR. Need I say more. Most people aren't cut out to be an entrepenuer, that is why most people in this country are employed by others. They don't have the courage to go it on their own.

3. TV - Alot of people also watch ER, but you don't see everyone racing out to be a NURSE. Look at how many doctors the nurses hook up with. But yet we still have a nursing shortage in this country. Most people watch TV for enjoyment, not to learn a new career path.

4. IGNORANCE - Do I really need to explain this one?

I do have to say one thing about Sprint Broadband.

Many new Laptops are no longer being made with a PC Card slot. Instead they are being equipped with what is call an Express Card slot. A thinner slot that uses something closer to USB communication technology.

Anyway, Sprint finally released a USB based broadband modem for your PC, they say they are working on an Express Card version but it has yet to be released. This has been talked about since last year. Verizon already has an Express card available.

Anyway, just wanted to add that in there.

I have used Vonage for a long time. Since Oct 2003 to be exact. In the beginning I had some issues with quality, and there was trouble getting my number transferred. Of course now they have a lot of the bugs worked out.

I have to say it is amazingly cheap compared to what SBC was/is charging. Even the international calls are amazingly cheap.

I like that I can go in and online change all the settings. I can add virtual numbers and best, I get to keep my number for LIFE, as long as I have high speed connection.

If I go on a trip, I can bring the device, plug it in, and have my phone with me.

I use Sprint. Can't say that I have sat and measured the speed, but I can say that a friend has Verizon and I am faster than him most times.

Wow. I am not sure I am happy with doing this, but I have to agree with Paul Strauss.

Without a doubt the most full featured program and I mean PROGRAM that can be tied into lead capture websites and all is Profit Tiger Pro.

Many other "programs" tend to be just Excel Spreadsheets with macros. This program is full featured, including a database to hold your properties, buyers, renters, private lenders, hard money lenders, conventional lenders, contractors, etc.

Here in Chicago, I have used a place over on York Road just west of O'Hare. For the life of me I can not remember the name of the Stone Supplier, but they have all the samples there in teh show room, they will then pull out slabs of the ones you like and will take you into the warehouse to choose.

I want to say the name was Park Stone.

The secrets of seller financing & the business of notes with W. Eddie Speed. You will be amazed before you’re halfway through with this powerful full day workshop which will take place at the Wyndam Drake, Oak Brook. This is a one-time, limited attendance, special opportunity to meet a true pro in the note business.

Seller financing may not seem like a very glamorous topic at first glance, but it is an extremely powerful too that can be used to close deals faster, sell hard-to-place properties, and finance borrowers that don’t meet institutional criteria. You’re in a business, and at the end of the day it’s about moving inventory—even if your inventory happens to be your properties. In addition, seller financing is a great way to create a hassle-free income stream from real estate without having to own, insure, and maintain property or manage tenants. You can see that in the legal and financial sense, seller financing can be a very glamorous topic indeed, and there’s nobody better in the country to teach you the seller financing, or note business than Eddie Speed.

Eddie Speed is the President of Colonial Funding Group, LLC in Southlake, TX. With his help you will learn to create incredible returns for yourself while you add options for moving even your most challenging inventory. Eddie will take you through all the ins and outs of this powerful way to build wealth including homework before the sale, structuring during the sale, and preventing default after the sale. In addition, you'll be walked through common sense, proven underwriting, servicing, and collection methods along with regulatory/statutory ramifications of servicing in your capacity as a lender.

You will complete The Power of Paper: Secrets of seller financing and the business of notes ready to:

Qualify and gain a comfort level with the buyer prior to the sale by obtaining as much information about the buyer as possible in order to ascertain their ability to make payments and honor all other covenants of the loan documents now and in the future
Structure the sale and resulting note and security document in a way that is legal, provides the most protection, flexibility and marketability and facilitates an exit strategy for the seller in the event of changing circumstances;
Develop a system that will provide organization and detailed and accurate records relating to the loan and the borrower.
Understand and comply with all legal obligations of a seller/lender under the note and security document, as well as applicable State and Federal statutes.
