The question though... is what is the best way to reach buyers from abroad? I have a website, I've placed ads stateside (US) and a few on the sites I know about in the US, and written PR, but how do we really connect with someone in the UK, who is on the buy side and wants to do deals?

This is a question that I am often asked and finally solutions are emerging that do not cost a lot of money. I'm looking for other answers too and we can share information, as well as, opportunity.

As you may already know, the luxury home market isn't as greatly effected with the sub-prime mortgage meltdown, as most of the buyers of luxury homes have the necessary capital to purchase.

In addition, with the strength of the euro and the pound against the US dollar, now is a great time for the British and others from abroad to invest in US luxury homes.

There are many other reasons to explore opportunities in this market too! I'm looking to work with others who have the desire to learn and will pay it forward. I'd love to hear some thoughts on this and see what we can do together.

Listsource is a good place to get lists for mailings

After you select your criteria, you then upload the postcard info into usps for easy and inexpensive mailing.

Another good source for postcard designs is In Touch Today for some good ideas. I hope this helps.

I'm new to the forum. Been in the real estate industry for 7 years now, formerly as a Mortgage Broker, the last 1 1/2 years as an investor too. We buy and sell properties all over the US. Many of our buyers are coming from international markets.
