Do You Tell Yourself You Need More Deals?

Doing more and more deals is great, but what good are those deals if you don't have a game plan for when they come in?

I had a few clients come by the office and saying “we need to do more deals...more more more!”

Immediately I asked what their game plan was for all these deals they’re closing. Many of them didn’t seem to have one.

The first step is figuring out your game plan to find those deals and figuring out what you are going to do with all those deals once you’ve landed them. Is your goal to get 100 deals even if you don’t make any money? Or is your game plan to make one highly profitable deal and make all your money for the year off that one deal?

You need a game plan and heavy marketing, then you can cherry pick the best deals. Make sure you are executing properly. So many people are doing deals, making small margins and not worrying about how well they’re doing.

Do less deals, make more money, and you’ll be a lot happier.
