How Do You Run Your Day So It Doesn't Run You?

Take control of your work day by creating a clear game plan of what you need to complete. Think about what goals or tasks you need to complete in order to fulfill your day and organize them into a list, calendar or program management system. You should separate your short-term and long-term tasks to clearly see what is more pressing.

Do your most important tasks first, before diving into phone calls and emails. It usually only takes an hour and leaves the rest of the day for your remaining tasks.
