The Construction Background of a Bullfrog, Keep on Suckin', and a Few Nice Floors?

As a project gets close to completion, you can almost feel the house thanking you for all of your hard work. I really love what I do for a living!

The wood floors are coming out very well.......

I am very proud of the work my codeRed team has done on this project. I have worked very hard to create the dream team, and it has all been worth it.

What I want people to see is that this rehab thing is not rocket science. There is no special secret that I hold over other people, and no magic book or class that makes all of this work. Heck, to be honest, I had the construction background of a bullfrog when I started. It all comes down to a strong work ethic, a deep desire to make it, and getting through the sea of losers and thieves to find the people you can trust.

If you go down the path of rehab and resell, you will have times when you lose money, you will feel a whole lot of pain, and you will have your heart broken on multiple occasions by people you put your faith in. The key is to persevere, fight every step of the way, and just freaking deal with it.

At the end of the day, when you look in the mirror, there is only you. Let me tell you one little secret, that person in the mirror is all you need to succeed.

Have a profitable day!

  1. Thanks for the kind words Josh! We really debated on the wood trim, but it was already there. We just made the call that it would be more cost effective to salvage it then it would be to tear it out. It is actually pretty nice wood, and it gives off that southern Atlanta feel to the home. The carpet goes in tomorrow, we need to paint that garage exterior, and install the kitchen cabinets over the weekend!!! After that, it is just final clean up and we are off to the next project!

  2. Beautiful floors, Harrison. I'm not a fan of the paneling, but otherwise, it is starting to look pretty good!
