Diary of a Gladiator - March 4, 2009

It has been a busy week of rehabbing and happy tenants!

I still manage a few properties myself, and it always seems that maintenance issues pop up all at once! We had problems at 3 of our properties this week: A high end stove replacementl, a busted water heater, and a furnace that we pushed a little too long!

The good news is that it was all fixed, and everybody is happy!

So lets get back to the rehab project!!!

The house is coming along very well. We are about 2 days behind schedule, but are spot on with the budget, and that is what is most important!

Here are a few photos of the work that has been done over the last few days.

I was hoping to have the carpet and wood floors done already, but it looks like it will be completed by Friday or Saturday. I usually do not do this, but I got one heck of a deal on some Berber carpet that was left over from a high end project, so we are installing that. It will look fantastic in this house.

All of the kitchen cabinets should be in by Sunday, so that will be the last major piece of the puzze to complete!

This project should be done no later than Tuesday, and keep in mind, we will be selling this home for around $48K!!!!!!!!!!
