How To - Mailers Part 3 - Consistency

This is the part of the mailing campaign that most people fall short. Lots of people will put all their eggs in one basket and throw in the towel if their first mailer didn't get good results. Being consistent and mailing a list over time is the secret. We set our mailing lists up for 6 months before deciding if we want to alter it. The reason for this is because the list you are mailing normally has a problem that needs resolved. The person selling the property might not be ready to sell in month 1 or 2 but then they want to sell in month 3. Your job is to make sure that when they are looking to solve their problem by selling their house, your postcard is in front of them at that time. The timing of the seller deciding to resolve their problem must match your mailing piece to offer the solution.
