How To - Mailers Part 2 - The Message

In this 'how to' series we are exploring how to execute an effective mailing campaign. In the first episode we went over the lists and in this one we discuss the message. What we have found is that simple is best. Most people that are looking to sell their property to an investor are not looking to call a postcard that has a corporate feel to it. They want to speak with a person that they trust and is local. The message we used during many of our wholesale campaigns was simply - 'My name is (name) and I am a local real estate investor. I am looking to purchase a property that is need of some TLC. I can close within 30 days and buy with cash. If you would like to chat about selling your property, give me a ring. Name, Cell,Email'. That is it. Nothing fancy and it certainly would get the phone to ring.
