Always Be 'Teachable' In Real Estate - Hard Money Bankers

It is very important to always have an open mind, regardless of the amount of experience you have in a particular area. In real estate , I tend to bump into people that figure out how to make money and then stop learning. I don't know if they do this because it is easier or because they are blinded by the money they are making. One reason to continue to keep yourself in a teachable mindset is so you can make sure if a more efficient way of improving arises you are ready. This is an example of where being teachable can help you. Being teachable also protects your money that you have made. If you are not constantly learning then at some point, someone or something will come along that will have enough impact on your style of investing to potentially jeopardize the way it was working. If you are aware of your investing surroundings , this meteor headed in your direction can be avoided because you were open minded, saw it coming and knew how to adapt before it hit you.
